Verification of enrolment - Domestic students

If you are a domestic student, you can request your verification of enrolment (VOE) online by following the instructions below. You must be registered for courses before submitting your request, and you must request a separate VOE for each term. There is no fee for this service. All VOEs are sent as a PDF document to your preferred email address.

Step-by-step instructions

Step 1: Log in to your myOkanagan account and select “Self-service”

Step 2: Select the “Student” tab
Step 3: Select “Student Records”
Step 4: Request “Enrolment Verification”

Step 5: Enter the “Term” and leave the number of copies as 1.
Note: You must request an Enrolment Verification for each term you are registered in.

Step 6:  Select “One of your addresses” unless the Verification of Enrolment (VOE) needs to be issued to a third party. Any information entered in the details section, such as the name of a RESP provider, will appear on the VOE. The completed VOE will be sent to you as a PDF via email. We do not send it directly to third parties.

Related questions

Can my VOE be emailed to my parents or to my RESP provider?
All VOE’s are emailed to the student who can then forward it to their parents or RESP provider/financial institution.

Can my parents request my VOE?
No, as you must request it through your myOkanagan account, only the student can make the request.

Can you fax, or can I come pick up my VOE?
All VOEs are emailed to the student's preferred email address. We do not offer fax or pickup options.

My RESP organization provided me with a form to be signed by the Registrar. How can I get this filled out?
The form must be submitted to the Office of the Registrar or Campus Administration Office in person or via email registration@okanagan.bc.ca. Some organizations require the student to be attending classes before the form can be signed, and the form cannot be processed until after the first two weeks of the program. Please allow time for processing.

What is the process for background checks for former or current SM students?
All background checks are verified by the Office of the Registrar. Requests should be emailed; please ensure the student’s consent, full name (at the time of attendance), dates attended, birthdate and student number are included.
